COWON WARRANTY POLICY: Cowon does not offer an 'International Warranty Policy' on its products. If you purchase a Cowon product from any other country other than India, Cowon India will not be able to offer you any free service or warranty for the same even if your product is still under the 1-year warranty period. In this case,you will have to send it to the dealer from whom you have bought the same, ie US, EU etc. There will not be any charges if you have purchased the product from Cowon India or any of our authorized dealers. For a defective unit, we offer a 100% replacement policy! All other regular technical issues and service support will be handled by us.
Basic Return Policy
Money will only be refunded in the case of Non-availability of the ordered model or if you have placed an order and the model goes out of stock. In such case, we will provide delivery within the next few days or customer can ask for a refund. Refunds may take up to 5-7 business days to process.
COWON India/Lipap Systems does not pay for the return shipping of defective merchandise. We will split the shipping costs with the customer. The customer agrees to pay to send the item back to us and we will consequently repair or replace the component and ship the item at no charge back to the shipping address specified in your account.

Notice of Return Tracking number
Please send your package to us via a reputed courier service to ensure prompt delivery, and record the tracking Number for your protection. If you can e-mail us your return tracking Number, it will speed up the processing of your RMA.
Each product is fully guaranteed by the manufacturer. Complete warranty is included with each product.
Physical damage policy
Physical damage to any product purchased at Cowonindia will effectively void our General Return Policy.
One-Year Limited Warranty for COWON/COWON/iAUDIO Products.
Warranty Coverage
COWON India.in warranty obligations for the COWON/iAUDIO is limited to the terms set forth below: COWON India warrants the COWON/iAUDIO product against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase ("Warranty Period").
If a defect arises and a valid claim is received by COWON India within the Warranty Period, at its option, COWON India will (1) repair the product at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts, (2) exchange the product with a product that is new or which has been manufactured from new or serviceable used parts and is at least functionally equivalent to the original product.
COWON India warrants replacement products or parts provided under this warranty against defects in materials and workmanship from the date of the replacement or repair for forty five (45) days or for the remaining portion of the original product's warranty, whichever provides longer coverage for you. When a product or part is exchanged, any replacement item becomes your property and the replaced item becomes COWON India's property. When a refund is given, your product becomes COWON India's property.

*If your LCD display has defective pixels, it will not be considered faulty until the number of defective pixels meet or exceed the amount of 3. If your display meets this criteria your LCD is deemed faulty and would be replaced if within the 30 days from the date of purchase if requested. For all units past the 30 day return policy the 1 year factory warranty will take into effect.
EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS
This Limited Warranty applies only to the COWON/iAUDIO product manufactured by or for COWON that can be identified by the "COWON/iAUDIO" logo affixed to it.
COWON India/Lipap Systems is not liable for any damage to or loss of any programs, data, or other information stored on any media contained within the Cowon/COWON/iAUDIO product. Recovery or reinstallation of programs, data or other information is not covered under this Limited Warranty.
This warranty does not apply: to damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, misapplication, or damage caused by service performed by anyone other than COWON India, to a product or a part that has been modified without the written permission of COWON India or if any COWON India serial number has been removed or defaced.
Note: Before you deliver your product for warranty service it is your responsibility to backup all data, including all software programs. You will be responsible for reinstalling all data. Data recovery is not included in the warranty service and COWON India is not responsible for data that may be lost or damaged during transit or a repair.
